ACEG PAK Branch / Safety checks to promote production

February 17th / Islamabad, Pakistan / After entering the Chinese New Year, the year of the tiger, the engineering construction and production works at all of the worksites of ACEG Pakistani Branch have been carried out in full swing. Just as the saying goes: safety work is an everlasting topic in engineering construction sector, in order to ensure safety construction and production, the Branch has launched a safety production inspection move with the purpose of ensuring work safety and promoting production. A safety checking team composed of the heads of relevant departments and managers of the Branch was set up to conduct a comprehensive safety and hidden hazard investigation on the two projects under its jurisdiction - the Afghan Embassy in Pakistan and the Regional Dispatching Center.

 

During the investigation process, the Team and the project department management personnel carried out on-site analyses of safety risks and located the hidden dangers and recalibrated the existing safety management measures and in the wake of the risks found, rectification notices have been issued and the project departments and responsible personnel were required to rectify within a time limit, and specially-assigned tracking and supervision have been arranged to ensure that the rectification rate of the potential safety hazards reaches 100%.

 

Mr. Pan Zhengqiang, General Manager of Anhui Construction Engineering Group Pakistani Branch, urged that while carrying out regular epidemic prevention and control, the Project of Afghan Embassy in Pakistan should take good care of the materials and equipment and strengthen the work of supervision; The Project of the Regional Dispatching Center should focus on the production efficiency and make every effort to ensure the progresses on the basis of safe production, he said the responsibility awareness of working safely should be further enhanced, the principle of “Safety first, prevention first, and comprehensive management” should be implemented to ensure that working safely is institutionalized and standardized.
